About Us

Cycle Fitters is owned and operated by John Strom. John is an avid cyclist with a passion for the sport. He understands the needs of his customers because he has been a consumer of bicycle products for many years. After experiencing the enormously positive effect that a professional fitting had on his knee pain and overall cycling performance, John decided to learn how to help others in this sport. He graduated from the SICI (Serotta International Cycling Institute) Bike Fit Professional Intensive certification course and began his career as a professional bike fitter. He continues his fitting education to stay up to date with the latest techniques.

Although John had a fulfilling career solely as a professional bike fitter, his dissatisfaction with the services of other bike shops inspired him to expand his business into a full retail shop. John feels that every rider, including experienced riders, racers, even children, and beginner riders deserve to have a properly fitted bicycle. Therefore, when you purchase a new bike from Cycle Fitters you will not leave our shop without having your bicycle properly set up. John is more than just a retail store owner, he is a cyclist who shares the same needs and concerns as others in the sport.
